Pen Parentis has just received word that we have won grants from both New York City and New York State!
The Manhattan Community Arts Fund grant is supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. This is the fourth year in a row that Pen Parentis Literary Salons have won this grant!
And now, for the first time, we have also added New York State funding to our list of lovely benefactors: The Fund for Creative Communities is part of the New York State Council on the Arts' statewide Decentralization program: it supports high-quality local arts programs--that's us! Thanks so much to our fiscal sponsor, Literary Manhattan, for their encouragement and help!
