Hearty congratulations to Elizabeth Pagel-Hogan — she will read her winning story at our September 13th, 2016, season opener at Andaz Wall Street! Judging is blind, so we don’t know how many children our winners have until the unveiling – but kudos to her, she’s able to create surreal, clean, sharp, hilarious, strange, moving, wonderful fiction, despite the demands of her three kids! Her bio will be posted on this site very soon–be sure to follow her on Twitter and connect with her on Facebook. Thanks to everyone for entering!
Looking for more funding opportunities? The Sustainable Arts Foundations grant cycle is open for Fall through September 2. Their application is not much more difficult than ours – and the money is considerable. They fund talented writers and visual artists who are also parents – GOOD LUCK!
Hug your kids and by all means, keep writing!
