Author’s Bio

Jess deCourcy Hinds is a fiction and nonfiction writer, and the founding library director of Bard H.S. Early College Queens. She holds an M.F.A. in fiction from Brooklyn College, a Masters in library science from the Pratt Institute, a B.A. from Smith College and an A.A. from Bard College at Simon’s Rock. She and her husband Stefan, an architect, are the parents of 2 year-old Stella, whose favorite alphabet letter is “Y.”

Hinds’ Pen Parentis Fellowship-winning story “Dear All,” is part of a novel-in-stories.
