Cathleen Davitt Bell is the author of the young adult books Slipping and Little Blog on the Prairie. She received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College and her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. She has worked as a newspaper reporter, as a salesperson for a multimedia publisher, as a market researcher, and finally as a copywriter. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children and two dogs named Oscar and Oprah.
