Geoff Kirsch is a writer and stay-at-home dad. His first book-length humor piece Run for Your Life Apocalypse 2012! is due out summer 2011 from Workman. He has written for Comedy Central, Huffington Post, and the Chicago Tribune; published short fiction
in various journals; and writes a bi-weekly column, “Slack Tide,” for the Juneau Empire. That’s right, the Juneau Empire. After earning his MFA in fiction from The New School in 2005, Geoff relocated to Alaska’s capital city, where he lives, writes, parents,
and (occasionally) sleeps. He used to be able to see Sarah Palin from his house—literally.
