I write Short Stories, Novels, Fantasy, YA, Children’s Books, Other.
Originally from Atlanta, Ga, then NYC., I currently live in Phoenicia, NY. I am also a parent.
I’m a writer, performer, teacher, and musician.
I’ve held down bass duties in rock bands, written with Rosanne Cash and for Wanda Jackson, performed the lead in the West End musical Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story, and, in addition to releasing two RBW CDs, I’ve banged away on an acoustic guitar in sweaty clubs and preschools and released several CDs as Uncle Rock (“Buddy Holly meets Shel Silverstein” – LA Times).
My prose has appeared in Texas Music, Brooklyn Parent, the Woodstock Times, vulture.com, Paste, TheRumpus.net, Dadwagon.com, Fine Books & Collections, Generation Monthly, Rural Intelligence, Fathermucker.com, Rock Paper Photo, Chronogram, and the Da Capo anthology The Show I ‘ll Never Forget. I live in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where I chop and stack wood and meet deadlines.
