The Pen Parentis Literary Salon brings an exciting new literary venue to the very heart of the Financial District! All are invited to this intimate event held the second Tuesday of each month. Join us for a drink and a story in the extraordinarily warm and elegant Libertine Library at Gild Hall.

In association with The South Street Seaport, Pen Parentis is proud to present two notable authors reading from their work each month—the two hour event concludes with an intimate Q&A and signings at the authors’ discretion. Full bar service is available.

Pen Parentis is a new, New York-based organization that provides resources to authors who are parents. The organization’s goals include a writing contest for new parents, grants for child-care, and ultimately, a writing center that partners with groups that provide drop-off children’s programming.
