Author’s Bio

Kelle Schillaci Clarke is a Seattle-based writer with deep L.A. roots. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Los Angeles Review, LEON Literary Review, Gone Lawn, Superstition Review, Barren Magazine, Bending Genres, CHEAP POP, and other literary journals. She holds an MFA from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, but left the desert in favor of the beautiful PNW, where she now lives with her husband and 7-year-old daughter.

Kelle has worked as an arts and theater journalist, a marketing communication specialist, and a project manager for a college textbook publisher. She is currently working on a short story collection and a matrilineal novel that takes place in the Pacific Northwest, incorporating the plight of the diminishing Southern Resident Killer Whales native to the Salish Sea.
