If this thread sounds familiar to your life, you are probably already a secret Pen Parentis Author. Basic membership is free – we would love to hear your voice, your questions, and whatever answers you have discovered for how to balance your family and your creative career!
We have meet-ups every Friday morning from 10am to 11am to discuss YOUR work and how we can help you achieve your writing goals. This is a fantastic way to meet other writers in a casual setting (you can even bring your kids if you have to, just make sure they have something to do and that they know your focus will be with the other adults in the room). Strollers and Bjorns/slings work best, for those that don’t have/can’t get someone to watch the mini-me. $10 donation per event. Sign up on Meetup to get weekly notifications.
