Becky Fine-Firesheets

Becky Fine-Firesheets is a story-teller whose work has appeared in The Rumpus, MUTHA Magazine, and Serving House Journal, among others. Her short story, The Roof, was nominated for a 2014 Best of the Net Award. In 2018, she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and in 2020, her short story, 2021, won second place in the Pen Parentis Writing Fellowship contest.

In addition to her writing, Becky is a mama of a baby and a Kindergartener. She is also an educator, activist, and the lead singer/keyboardist in experimental pop-rock duo The Brooklyn Players Reading Society. She loves the beach, books, dogs, and food. After 13 years of living in Brooklyn, Becky currently resides in Cincinnati, OH.
