Author’s Bio
Frank Haberle is a fiction writer, nonprofit grant writer, and workshop leader. His short stories have won the 2011 Pen Parentis Award and the 2013 Sustainable Arts Foundation Award; they have been published in numerous journals including the Adirondack Review, Smokelong Quarterly, Melic Review, Wilderness House Literary Review, Necessary Fiction, Cantaraville and Hot Metal Press. As a volunteer workshop leader and former Board Chair of the nonprofit NY Writers Coalition, Frank has led and developed unique creative writing workshops in community-service settings across the city. For over 25 years, Frank has been a professional grant writer with New York City nonprofit organizations including The Children’s Aid Society, Goddard Riverside Community Center, Community Resource Exchange and Computers for Youth (CFY). He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and is the proud dad of three children.
