
Kathleen Lawton-Trask is a writer and teacher living in Los Angeles, California. Her academic and creative interests include poetic form, 18th century women’s writing, miscellanies, and writing about domestic labour. She has written for ย The Washington Post and Georgetown magazine as well as for peer-reviewed academic journals such as Eighteenth Century Life and ABO: Interactive Journal for Women in the Arts, 1640-1830. She has been a research fellow at the Huntington Library and holds an MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia and a D.Phil. in British Literature from Oxford University. She teaches high school English and creative writing in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and two bookish children.
