Author’s Bio

Marina Budhos grew up in Queens, NY, in Parkway Village, a community built for U.N. families, and a haven for international, mixed, and American families during the ferment ofcivil rights and social change. She is married and has two young sons. Her most recent work includes TELL US WE’RE HOME (2010), ASK ME NO QUESTIONS (2007), and REMIX: CONVERSATIONS WITH IMMIGRANT TEENAGERS, all written for young adults. She explains her cross-over from writing for adults into an author of young adult fiction, by pairing the concept with her interest in both fiction and nonfiction.
