
Rachael Holliday (she/her) is an associate poetry editor at Kallisto Gaia Press in Austin, Texas. She has published a variety of forms, from personal essays, travel interest and poetry to literary criticism and creative nonfiction. Her essay, “Finding My Voice,” was shortlisted for the 2018 Memoir Magazine #MeToo Essay Award. In 2020, she was selected to participate in the Community of Writers Memoir Workshop. Holliday earned a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston, and a dual MLA in English, and in Irish Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Born in New Mexico, she spent most of her childhood in Colorado and England. Currently, she resides in Houston, Texas with two high school-aged kids, a partner, and multiple pets.
