That’s right! In the spirit of inclusiveness (it’s one of our core values!) Pen Parentis Literary Salons brings you a genre rarely heard in Reading Series–MUSIC. The season-closing May 2018 salon features four musician-writers. These women balance busy families with gigs – or composition requests – or performances – or commissions…! Poetry set to music, music inspired by poetry, or songwriting – these moms will show you how it is done.

We are excited to feature this form, and hope you will come out and join us. Remember, our Salons break for Summer and will only be back in September 2018!
