We are hosting a series of casual meet-ups for people with kids who are serious about their writing careers. The first one was July 6th, and we will be meeting every Friday morning from 10am to 11am all summer long! Find us at Shake Shack in Lower Manhattan in the Fulton Transit Center (second floor), we will be talking all things writing — last week we set goals and talked about some of the obstacles various people were facing. It’s a wonderful group. Limit 20 people so please RSVP.
“Very friendly, very professional, very nurturing, extremely knowledgeable, this is my first meeting – life altering!” – D. J.
Meetup is new for us and some people have said that there are a lot of advertising-type questions. You can skip ALL of them if you don’t feel comfortable, particularly the ones about your interests and other groups you might like to join. Here’s our direct link for notifications of these summer meet-ups. Come to one or come to all – you can even bring your kids if you have to. The space is elevator accessible.
Here are photos from the first event, which had to be relocated to a different coffee shop because of a kitchen emergency that closed Shake Shack. It’s open again – and we will meet there for the rest of the summer! Hope to see you there.
