Have you wondered what sort of a story wins our annual Fellowship? Truly EVERY kind, as long as we can’t put it down. Newly published on Brain Child Magazine’s site is Elizabeth Pagel Hogan’s wonderful winning entry from 2016-2017. Give it a read!
As you know, we welcome all entries from writers with a child under 10 for this prestigious and sometimes life-altering Fellowship. (no kidding, past winners have said it gave them the courage to really change their lives and devote more time for what used to be little more than a hobby–they have gone on to win many prizes, grants and even to publish books).
Read more about our current Fellow here. And become inspired to enter your own story for consideration to become the Fellow for 2017-2018. 2017 Guidelines are here. Applications are open starting March 1, 2017. Please do note that we really want you to write new work: the goal of this fellowship is to get new parents writing again during the most demanding time of parenthood. You got this!
